Raises grass-fed and grass-finished beef and lamb and pastured pork, available at Bay Area restaurants, supermarkets and farmers’ markets, and also at stemplecreek.com. We love Hog Island burgers, and those are made with Stemple Creek beef.

Grows vegetables and flowers which are available at our farm stand located on the ranch. Their quail eggs go to a number of gourmet restaurants including State Bird Provisions.

Is a global not for profit leading the farm to closet movement. Fibershed producer members sell their wool to local artisans as well as to major brands like North Face and Mara Hoffman. Fibershed also grows indigo and other plant based pigments and offers workshops and classes.

MALT
MALT has an agricultural conservation easement on the ranch. Over the years, MALT has been an outstanding partner and funded numerous water related projects. The ranch is very active in MALT’s land stewardship program. MALT is currently working with Fibershed and the Marin Carbon Project on their carbon farming plan, and helping improve habitat around the pond.

MRCD
The ranch has partnered with Fish and Wildlife on several road and water systems projects, and is currently improving access to a portion of the ranch to increase carbon capture by speeding up the rotational grazing program.

SPAWN has done two creek restoration projects at the ranch in the past, and is currently working on two additional creek related projects, as well as efforts to improve habitat for monarch butterflies and beavers.
